Elegant with a twist

Just a quick post for today with a Casual
Friday work outfit.
I was extremely anxious to wear this skirt, but although I
had something totally different in mind, I am digging this casual chic version
of it, also.

Clarifications
Hi, guys!
Again, this is an outfit I wore to work
last week. One of my favorites, actually!
Very comfortable, but still elegant
and chic, at the same time. I must admit I’m crazy in love with these earrings
and I tend to create my outfits around them, lately.
Since there were some
speculations ever since...forever...around this subject,
I would like to
clarify something once and for all: every single outfit I post on this blog is
worn by me on my day to day life. On the contrary, there are lots and lots of
outfits that never end up on the blog simply because I can’t find the time to
take pictures of them. Unlike other bloggers, I don’t have a photographer who
follows me around all the time,
I have a work schedule and a limited amount of
free time. So, most of the outfits are shot before or after I arrive from work,
at home. The other ones, such as the one I’m posting today, are shot by my
boyfriend whom I have to thank because he really hates doing this. This
involves searching for a location, finding a less crowded place with a good
light and so on. I don’t want to be one of those bloggers that spend a week or more creating an outfit,
working on their hair and make-up, photoshopping their photos just so that I
could show you how glamorous my life is. It’s really not! As most of you, I
have my good days and my bad days and that is reflected on my hair, my face, my
outfits. Whether you like’em or not is strictly up to you. I am just a normal
person who chose to share a little part of her life with you, guys, hoping to
learn more and to improve herself.
You have to understand that a blog involves
a lot of work and effort as it is!
Since I’m doing it as a hobby, I would truly
appreciate if you, guys,
could understand and support me! Thank you so much!

Summer means Color
Hi, guys!
I just took these pics a few minutes ago
when I got home from work.
I was in a big hurry so I totally forgot my handbag
in the car.
Still, most of you saw the preview on Facebook or Instagram.
As you
can see, I now have a new darker color and a new haircut.
Hope you’ll like it
just as much as I do!

Neon Frenzy
Finally...good morning, guys!
I’m very sorry for my
absence, it’s been a hectic week for me, here.
Being home alone is really not
that fun when you take into consideration all the responsibilities you’re being
left with. Four fellow companions are
suddenly not that cute and fuzzy, but needy and...many, I have to admit.
Anyways, enough complaining...

Work Outfit
Hi, guys!
I just got home from work and the only
thing on my mind, right now,
is taking a very long, cold shower. This heat is
absolutely unbearable!
As much as I wished for Summer to arrive, now I can
honestly say that I can’t take it anymore! As for the outfit, this is
just something I wore to work last week.

Neon Lover
Hi, guys!
I know, I know...I took more than a day
off, but I really needed this.
I’m going through a very busy period of my life,
right now, with the exam session,
projects and work. Plus, to top it all off, I’m
having the most difficult time trying to shoot my outfit pics, since I’m living
for about two weeks in the middle of a construction sight. The dust, the noise,
plus the temperature outside are unbearable, believe me...
Also, on Thursday, I
celebrated my 24th anniversary. Thank you so much for the beautiful messages I
received on Facebook and email. They really meant a lot to me!
Anyway, believe
it or not, this is what I wore to work last week.
I fell in love with this
skirt the moment I saw it. Some of you already know from Facebook that I was
desperately searching for this tee. Well, I have finally found it!
Same story
with the earrings...You know me, I always have an obsession on something. On my
list, right now: a gorgeous neon yellow necklace from H&M, a frilled white
pencil skirt from H&M, also, a white peplum top from Zara and an amazing
studded denim jacket...also from Zara. I really need to have these pieces in my
closet!
Anyway...back to the outfit...so I took these neon pieces and added the
nude accessories
to make it more appropriate for the office. I have to admit, I
did this mostly because
I was dying to wear them as soon as possible. I can’t
wait to wear these pieces again and show you more combinations with them!

Bond Girl
Hi, sweeties!
I have to say that I’m sick and tired
of this horrible weather. I hate the humidity, these sudden heavy rain showers
and the fact that I don’t even know what to wear,
because I’m either melting or
trying to find a dry place to escape the flood...
Anyway, this is what I wore to
work on Tuesday.
The rain started pouring the moment I got home, so I was lucky
enough not to ruin
my sandals. You know me...I’m not the one to dress for comfort
and the weather conditions are just some obstacles I have to avoid. Avoid, not
adapt to...
Anyway, I was searching for this peplum top since forever and, finally, I managed to
find it in Barcelona. It was the last one and in my size,
even. Since black is definitely
not my color, I avoid wearing it too much, so
this is my first all black outfit ever.
I just had to try this combo even
though I had to face my mother’s disapproval
when she saw what I was planning
to wear. She loved the final result, though,
so I guess it was a success! I
hope you’ll like it, too!
Also, I would like you to meet my new baby: The Furla
Studded Candy Bag.
I had my eyes on this one since last year, when I saw the rainbow
colored versions,
but the neon colors and the see-through-ness weren’t exactly my
cup of tea.
But this one...it had to be mine! So prepare yourselves, cause you’ll
be seeing it a lot!

Desperate Housewife
Hi, guys!
I fell in love with this skirt the moment
I laid my eyes on it, so I knew I had to
take it home with me. Since then, for
almost one month and a half, I’ve been waiting for the perfect occasion to take
it for a spin. During this period I’ve been searching
for that perfect short
top to mix it with, but, unfortunately, I failed miserably.
Finally, this week,
Idecided I won’t wait anymore...so I wore it with a white shirt tied around
the waist. It was the perfect outfit for work and I loved it to bits!
