The Summer Shirt Dress

Good morning, little birdies! 

It’s Monday again and I’m really starting to feel positive that time has lost its patience with us. We are jumping from Monday to Friday in no time...one moment I’m over

 here picking out decorations for the Christmas tree and the next one I am freaking out 

that I haven’t even bought a bathing suit for the upcoming Summer vacation.  

 It’s starting to get  sad and quite worrying. We are constantly waiting for something, whether it’s the weekend, our holiday, a promotion, an important event...we constantly wish for the days to go by faster. But we don’t even realise how fast time actually flies

 until it is too late. We really should start enjoying the present with all its good and 

bad moments! As for this season...everyone around me is constantly complaining about 

the heat. But we are half way through Summer already... I am pretty sure we are going 

to miss these temperatures very soon. Until then, just dress appropriately and drink 

more water! This dress is my go to item these days! It’s so light and comfy, a dream

 during these high temperatures!

Field of Flowers

Good morning, darlings! 

Please excuse my previous post. It was 4 a.m., I still had lots of things to do, including

 packing and a plane to catch in less than two hours. So, obviously, I was freaking out!

Being away from all the craziness for a few days felt like a deep breath of fresh air. 
Coming back home felt like a blessing for a moment. Not much of a blessing, now, though.

 I have to get back on track and it’s even more difficult after getting used to sitting

around all day. Actually, that is not entirely true. I’ve walked around the city of

 Madrid (cause that was my destination) all day, every day. My feet are sore even as

 we speak, but it was definitely worth it. I am a declared admirer of Spain with all

its beauties, so Madrid was definitely my cup of tea. Now I am eagerly waiting for

 my Summer vacation and I promise that this time I’ll be back with lots of pics to

 share with you, guys. As for today’s post...it is impossible not to love this skirt...

volume, length, print, transparency...elegance with just the right amount of sexyness.

 The fabric is so light that it felt like a dream wearing it even at 40 degress Celsius.

Green Squares

Hello, darlings! 

This Summer is as bad as it gets. We are already in July and it’s raining cats 

and dogs every single day. If you’re lucky enough to see a ray of sunshine during 

the day, that’s all you get. Bashful rays fighting the grey heavy clouds...The day we

 took these pics was one of those days. It was sunny, then cloudy, then sunny and

 cloudy again. Then it started raining...again! Since I’m not able to enjoy almost none

 of my Summer dresses, these fun little blouses are my go-to item during these 

moody days. They practically go with everything!

Good morning, ladies! 

Nothing beats the eliberating feeling of wearing this type of dress during Summer. Especially since I’ve been living in jeans for the last couple of months. 

Me, the one that has been dedicating odes and poems to skirts and dresses. 

Lately, I’ve put together a jeans collection that even Elle Ferguson would envy.

 Ok, I’m going overboard here...No, she wouldn’t! She’s the queen! 

Truth is my mother hates it...God knows I hate it cause I miss my pretty skirts, 

but running around all day requires something casual and comfy. This pretty 

little tomato, right here, is perfect for that! And you can easily dress it up

 or down, which is perfect if you have a full schedule.
