Good morning, sweeties!
As you can see from the
title, I have found my perfect coat.
From the moment I saw this beauty, I knew
I had to have it! It was one of those moments when you just know. Seen it,
tried it on, bought it! Love at first sight!
You already know that I love this particular
shape on skirts and dresses and of course I had to have a coat, also. I needed
a simple black coat, especially something a little elegant and this one is just
what I was looking for: perfect in shape, cut, fit and fabric, one of the
softest I’ve ever felt. Plus, it can be easily mixed with casual pieces, rock
accents, in this case, so it’s a big advantage for me.
I chose this combo for
my first outfit with it, because this is what I was wearing when I visited the
FeMale showroom and tried this coat on. Something simple and casual, perfect
for a walk. A rock chic 21st century approach of Anna Karenina’s style.

The coat is great and you always look sooo good... But my personal opinion about this outfit is that the boots don't make a good match with the coat which is very elegant. Just an opinion based on the pics, maybe in reality it looks better. Have a nice weekend.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous: I figured some of you might think that, but, as I was saying in the post, the thing I love most about this coat is that although it appears to be very elegant, it can be easily mixed with tougher/casual pieces. Still, it all depends on ones tastes and point of view, of course. Personally, when I think of an outfit, I always think of both with and without heels versions, because let s be honest, nobody walks through the park or goes shopping wearing 10+cm heels. Plus, as you ve probably seen through my posts, I love combining elegant pieces with tough/rock accents. I ve worn these boots with elegant dresses, skirts and what not and, believe me, (and I m totally sincere when I say this) I loved those outfits 10 times more than if I would have worn them with heels.
