The Summer Shirt Dress

Good morning, little birdies! 

It’s Monday again and I’m really starting to feel positive that time has lost its patience with us. We are jumping from Monday to Friday in no time...one moment I’m over

 here picking out decorations for the Christmas tree and the next one I am freaking out 

that I haven’t even bought a bathing suit for the upcoming Summer vacation.  

 It’s starting to get  sad and quite worrying. We are constantly waiting for something, whether it’s the weekend, our holiday, a promotion, an important event...we constantly wish for the days to go by faster. But we don’t even realise how fast time actually flies

 until it is too late. We really should start enjoying the present with all its good and 

bad moments! As for this season...everyone around me is constantly complaining about 

the heat. But we are half way through Summer already... I am pretty sure we are going 

to miss these temperatures very soon. Until then, just dress appropriately and drink 

more water! This dress is my go to item these days! It’s so light and comfy, a dream

 during these high temperatures!

Hello, darlings! 

This Summer is as bad as it gets. We are already in July and it’s raining cats 

and dogs every single day. If you’re lucky enough to see a ray of sunshine during 

the day, that’s all you get. Bashful rays fighting the grey heavy clouds...The day we

 took these pics was one of those days. It was sunny, then cloudy, then sunny and

 cloudy again. Then it started raining...again! Since I’m not able to enjoy almost none

 of my Summer dresses, these fun little blouses are my go-to item during these 

moody days. They practically go with everything!

Hello, darlings!

 I am finally back after...what feels like forever!

 I miss blogging like crazy, but unfortunately time is my biggest enemy, lately. 

Meanwhile, a lot of beautiful things happened...a lot of frills and thrills, a lot of colors

 and smiles, millions of hours of work, but as they say: 

Lots of action with tons of satisfaction! 

This little baby, right here, is my proud and joy, this Summer. 

You’ve probably seen that off shoulder tops are the next big thing this season.

 The stores are full of them. I know that, cause I probably own most of them! 

What can I say, I love open backs and bare shoulders. Of course I had to make one

 myself. Sure, you could make three with the fabric I used for this one, but you know me

. I love fullness! When she first saw it, my mother said I could easily make two full 

midi skirts from it. But where’s the beauty in that?! It is cute, but sexy. 

Simple, but with a certain twist. Light and breezy, but still full as a blooming flower. Impossible not to fall in love with it!

Good morning, darlings!

 Long time no see! Ok, it hasn’t been that long, but blogging can be quite addictive, 

you know?! Three or four days off and it feels like you’ve been gone forever! 

Finally, and I mean finaaaally the weather got back on track, so we can enjoy this last
 month of Summer at its best. And how can I do that, if not by wearing my absolute 

loves in every single color there is?! You know me...If I like an item too much, 

you’ll probably see it in my closet in every color version there is. And now that I’m 
actually able to do them myself, beware cause you’ll definitely go colorblind.

The Lovely Top

Hello, darlings! Tadaaa...here it is! 

I am not the one to copy/paste other people’s ideas, simply because I respect the work and effort behind...well, everything. Cause no matter how easy and fun it seems to be, there’s seriously a lot of work behind almost every activity. But, I had such a huge crush on this wonderful blouse, that I dreamed of having it in every color, ever since I saw it. Unfortunately, after months of searching and searching for it on every website out there,

 I failed miserably. So, encouraged by all your messages regarding this top and by my personal shopaholic side, I thought about making it myself. So here it is, after months 

of searching for this perfectly smooth fabric, it is here, available in more color versions. 

So sorry for this sloppy outfit with it. I’m going through a phase somewhere between exhaustion and lack of imagination, so I’m in a constant search for comfort.
