H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection in stores

Hi, guys! 

So, today, we finally got to see H&M’s Exclusive Conscious Collection in stores. 

I was dying to bring one of those gorgeous gowns home with me, so at 9.45 a.m. I left work and headed straight to H&M’s Flagship store in Unirea Shopping City. 

Before I start telling you about the dresses, I have to mention this... 

I swear, H&M has the best natural flower arrangements I have ever seen. 

I love the fact that they put so much work into the lunch of a collection. 

It’s one of the few high-street stores that actually does that. 

You already know that I was completely in love with the asymmetrical lace white dress. Unfortunately, in reality it didn’t look that good, plus it wasn’t quite suitable for my body type. Although I tried on the smallest size, it looked quite loose in the waist area. 

The powdery pink embellished dress was very cute in reality, also. The model isn’t actually what I have in mind for an evening gown, so I took this chance to admire it and moved on. The white suit is not actually, white. Is more of a light beige shade, mostly because it is made out of linen, from what I saw. Since I’m looking for the perfect...white suit, 

I moved along, again. And then...I saw a black beauty...

A sleeveless knee-length dress in satin with a seam at the waist, a concealed zip at the back and fringes of different lengths. The fringes are in shorter layers at the front 

and straight cut to ankle length at the back.  I don’t really know how I’ve missed it, since 

I don’t even remember seeing it in the look book. We all know that fringes made a huge comeback this season... Sure, we all have that simple little black dress in our closet, 

but I never had something this bold and...different. 

Since I was already thinking about purchasing the MLH version that Inna wore...no... rocked a few months ago, I’ve decided to try this one on. Perfect fit, so it’s mine now and I’ve already found the perfect accessories to mix it with. 

I’m just waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it and to show it to you, guys!

As I was saying a few days ago when I was telling you about The Icons Collection, 

H&M is on fire this Spring. It is definitely determined to bring us only the best of everything. And this time I’m talking about the Conscious Exclusive Collection. 

It brings a range of fabulous evening gowns made of sustainable fabrics. 

In a few words, this collection is a mix of Hollywood Glamour and sustainable fashion. Hollywood comes to life with the lunch of H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection, 

which includes evening outfits and gowns, perfect to celebrate the arrival of Spring 

and not only. With a fabulous design, the collection abounds in amazingly 

beautiful gowns and elegant pieces.  

 Personally, I immediately fell in love with the lace asymmetrical gown.

 I can just see myself wearing it not only this Spring, but also during Summer. 

On those warm perfect Summer nights when I’m on vacation, or for a party in the garden. It is so elegant, so feminine...it has that bohemian look, but it’s also sexy and...

I really need it in my life! Also, I absolutely love the white suit. The blazer has the perfect length and cut and those pants are simply to die for. I was looking for a pair of high-waisted white pants since forever and this is definitely my chance to get them. 

Plus, you know that one of this year’s hot trends are suits, so a white one would be just perfect for Spring and Summer. The clutch is also on my list. The soft powdery pink fabric mixed with the amazing jewel applications...it can brighten up every outfit, whether is simple, or elegant. And it goes perfectly with the suit and the white dress, doesn’t it?!

 So, start saving or....stop spending, cause the collection will be available next Saturday,

 at H&M’s Flagship store, Unirea Shopping Center.

H&M The New Icons Collection

It seems like this is going to be a fabulous year for the H&M lovers.

 After this amazing capsule collection that is already in stores, H&M is bringing something different...a collaboration with the leading models from the fashion industry: 

Daphne Groeneveld, Liu Wen, Lindsey Wixson and Joan Smalls. 

This collection is inspired by their personal style and it’s a mixture between different styles and influences, according to their individual taste.

"The New Icon collection from H&M is very flattering and suits all of your needs. 
It's super cool and for your everyday girl who wants to look great and feel comfortable 
at the same time," said Smalls. "I loved the look I was wearing because it's something I would see in the store and would want to wear."

 "These days I feel that every girl needs a perfect leather jacket to give themselves a cool factor," said Wen. "The jacket in this collection is amazing - [the whole collection] really fits into my personal style and it's something that I will definitely wear on a daily basis."

H&M Spring 2013 in the H&M Showroom

Hi, guys! 

As I’ve already told you, on Friday I attended the Press Preview of H&M’s 

Spring 2013 Collection. It was as amazing as I expected since I’ve already seen the Lookbook online. H&M is becoming better and better by every season, for sure! 

The design, the fabrics, the accessories, the details were at their best! 

All I can say is that I can’t wait to see it in stores!

Ok, trebuie să recunosc...am fost atât de impresionată de această colecție încât 

am considerat că merită marcată cu prima mea postare în limba română. 

Faptul că am fost și sunt fană declarată H&M încă de când am învățat de la mama ce măsură port și de la Google Maps unde sunt localizate cele mai apropiate magazine, 

se știe. Știe mama pentru că bugetul ei de cumpărături avea de suferit considerabil atunci când mă scăpa din mână într-un H&M generos de 3 etaje...ah, cum să nu iubești Viena și Florența?!...știe tatăl meu, care în naivitatea lui, încă se întreabă de ce are probleme cu încheieturile. Știe prietenul meu pentru că...ah, numai el știe câte a îndurat! 

Ce să mai încolo și încoace, știe toată lumea! Mai puțin voi! Voi îmi cunoașteți obsesia pentru Zara, în schimb. Și asta pentru că o dată cu intrarea pe piață a gigantului suedez, am impresia că o parte din lucrurile fabuloase pe care noi le vedem în Lookbook-urile fiecărui sezon, sunt sustrase de doamnele chic de la vamă. Altfel, nu-mi explic cum unele piese cheie pe care le văd la bloggerii din afară, nici nu ating rafturile noastre.

Cu toate astea, pot afirma cu mâna pe inimă că ultimele două sezoane, 

respectiv ss’12 și aw’12 mi-au întărit convingerea că am crescut și noi mari și avem voie să ne jucăm cu jucării de +3ani. De la topurile cu peplum, bluzele asimetrice și accesoriile neon, la puloverele supradimensionate, cerceii și colierele statement. De la nuanțele pudrate, la burgundy și galben neon, de la mătase și voal, la neopren și piele, de la ținte la pietre sclipitoare ridiculos de ostentative. Baby, I’m lovin’it!

 Însă colecția de primăvară 2013 este...mind blowing, fără nicio îndoiala. 

Este o evoluție totală! De la designul pieselor, la materiale, atenția sporită pentru detaliile și ornamentele care împodobesc fustele și jachetele, la accesoriile prețioase, dar și la prețul ușor mai ridicat decât cel cu care eram obișnuiți.

Personal, m-am îndrăgostit de jacheta rosie cu canafi și franjuri din simplul motiv 

că este pur și simplu fabuloasă! De fapt, îmi aduce aminte de o jachetă Proenza Schouler de care m-am îndrăgostit acum câțiva ani și pe care regret și în ziua de azi că nu am cumpărat-o. E genul de jachetă care vorbește de la sine, pentru care nu ai nevoie de artificii pentru a o pune în valoare și care poate transforma orice ținută banală într-una super stylish. Am rămas plăcut impresionată și fascinată de ghetele cowboy. 

Deși nu sunt cel mai mare fan al acestui gen de încălțăminte, din simplul motiv că arăt de parcă am încălțat două canoe, de acestea m-am îndrăgostit pe loc. Aș fi putut jura că sunt designer made atunci când am văzut-o pe Diana, showroom manager-ul H&M, purtându-le. Topul asimetric din tricot cu imprimeu military mi-a rămas în minte și nu cred că voi avea liniște până când nu va fi al meu. La fel și eșarfa cu canafi neon și cerceii în formă de scoică și ananas. Nu pot să spun decât că abia aștept să apară în magazine și discutăm mai multe în momentul în care intru în posesia măcar a unei piese!
