Double Volume

Good morning, darlings! 

Talk about volume, right?! And this time I went double, cause you either go double,

 or not at all. I know, I’m talking non-sense, but it’s 3 a.m. and I’m only dreaming 

of the fluffy pillow behind me. Let’s get back to the subject...oh, how much I’ve searched

for this perfect fabric, only I know. You can’t have this perfect volume without it and

 you know that I love volume. This time I thought about mixing two pieces of this kind, instead of the fitted top and flared skirt combo. Never tried it before, not the biggest fan, but it was worth trying it, cause this ensemble looks rather interesting, don’t you think?! I’m going to bed, cause I have a full weekend ahead, 

but I’m leaving you with this ton of pics.

Royal Tulip Dress

Good morning, birdies! Rise and shine! 

Since we are in the middle of the wedding season, I’ve decided to show you some
 suggestions of what you might wear. You already know this from my daily outfits: 

I stand for simplicity in all its forms, solid colors and a small drop of elegance. 

You won’t be seeing me rocking feathers, sequins and other glittery appliques any time soon. You probably remember last Winter’s Royal Blue Tulip Skirt, so how could I not make a dress inspired by it, since you all loved it so much?! Oh, and beware...

I am wearing make-up! After four hours of sleep, ten hours at work and other adventures,
 I was ready to party! More or less...I was literally dreaming of my comfy bed. 

I should have drawn some bubbles with little zZz in them...

You can dress it up or down, from a day out shopping with the girls to an evening out with your lover. It’s an easy and comfortable look, but still chic on so many levels. 

The royal blue shade, the contrast between the volumes and lenghts and this handbag...

it is definitely my all time favorite love.

Birthday Outfit

Good morning, guys! 

Somehow I totally forgot to show you my birthday outfit. 

Which was two weeks ago, but that’s not important. 

Lately, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s healthier not to keep track of how fast time flies. It’s more important to keep track of what went good or wrong during this time.

 Your accomplishments and failures, your joys and sorrows, your laughter and tears. 

If you’re on the positive side it means that you’re on the right track, so keep going. 

If not...make a change! We all live by the fear of change, but more often change is good, change is positive! As for me, I’m halfway there and I’m planning to get closer and closer by the day! So thank you so much for walking by my side, for your wonderful encouragements and support! And yes, I have developed an obsession on this color. 

I’m loving it more and more with every shade and every shape!   

As for the flowers...they stole my heart!

Hi, sweeties! 

Black, ripped jeans, plaid shirts...that’s the only reason some of us love Autumn. 

Of course, there are also the light leather jackets, the cashmere sweaters, 

the new ankle boots and...so many wonderful items. Don’t even get me started 

about the new collections! A treat for the eye, a stab for the wallet! 

Anyways, I was dying to get a red plaid shirt, not to wear it on, like normal people do, 

but tied up around the waist like you can see in these pics. Can’t wait to experiment

 more with it: shorts and over the knee boots, black dress, striped dress, pencil skirts,

 full skirts, everything goes, really. Just let your imagination run wild!

Good morning, sweeties! 

There’s just something about me and simple, black and white outfits, lately. 

Will this be the end of my adventure with colors?! No way...I wouldn’t feel...well, me. 

As for this particular outfit, I was dying to try this androgynous look and what better 
occasion to do it, than by wearing my new pair of pants?!

Matched with a cropped top, a structured blazer and a pair of statement earrings, 

it has just the right amount of feminine details not to make me look like a...sir.

Business Lady

Good morning, sweeties!

 This jumpsuit has quite a story behind it... An annoying one, but with a happy end.

After buying it the first time without trying it on and seeing myself swimming in a black and white...sack, at home, went back to change it, failed in finding another one in my size, 

went to every single Zara store in town, changed it to something else, just to find it again the next day. This time with a better fit! I never understood how is it possible for a woman not to know the size she’s wearing. Why try to fit in an XS, when you’re definitely an M?! Often, through the years, I couldn’t buy a piece just because it was loosened up, or even worse, torn apart. 
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging from my comfy seat! 

I always buy M for the upper pieces, just cause I think it fits me better. 

No one wants to look like the Michelin man, seriously!

Blend In

Good morning, guys!

 I’m off to the seaside in a few moments. 

It was one of those decisions you make without putting too much thought into it.

 I took the decision last night, spent have the night getting ready and after just four 

hours of sleep, I’m ready to hit the road. This is a premiere for me, since I’m one 

of those people who live according to well defined plans. 

As for my outfit, I bought this jumpsuit on sale and I must say it was a great deal. 

Don’t you just love it when you find a great piece and it’s on sale, also? 

I don’t even remember seeing it in stores this Spring. I absolutely adore jumpsuits, 

but unfortunately it’s quite hard to find one perfect for my body type.

 I think this one meets the standards.
