Pink for Diana

Hi, darlings!
During these last couple of days I realized how fragile life actually is.
I am and always have been the one who always sees the empty half of the glass.
But that is only cause I want more from me, from the ones around me, from life.
As I’ve previously told you, I strongly believe that we must always try to be the best version of ourselves. Looking up to others may be disappointing or deceitful sometimes...
sadly, most of the times. But believing in yourself, staying true to your
real values and beliefs, working hard for your dream, loving the ones around you,
being real and sincere may only bring you the best in life.
Diana Sorescu was exactly this kind of person.
A wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman, who worked hard for her dream,
who stayed true to herself no matter what, who loved her friends more than anything,
who faced life with a big smile on her face. Unfortunately, she left this world far too early,
without having the chance to finish her wonderful journey. Still, she left us so many
beautiful memories and so many wonderful words, but way too much sorrow.
The news of her departure came as a shock to me and all of the people who knew her.
It’s not fair, but God has His way of settling things. He chooses to take some of the most wonderful people with Him, but I’m sure that’s only cause He has something way more special prepared for them. Take a moment and read the beautiful vanilla words
Diana used to write and wish her a wonderful journey!
As for you, guys, remember to love and enjoy life at its best, no matter how hard
it seems sometimes, because you never know where you’re going to be tomorrow.
Love yourself, love the ones around you and cherish every insignificant moment
of your life, cause you have no idea how important it actually is.
Life is pink, no matter what! If it’s not today, work hard so it would be tomorrow!
This post is dedicated to Diana. Thank you for teaching us so much in so little time!
Farewell my dear!

Business Lady

Good morning, sweeties!
This jumpsuit has quite a story behind it... An annoying one, but with a happy end.
After buying it the first time without trying it on and seeing myself swimming in a black and white...sack, at home, went back to change it, failed in finding another one in my size,
went to every single Zara store in town, changed it to something else, just to find it again the next day. This time with a better fit! I never understood how is it possible for a woman not to know the size she’s wearing. Why try to fit in an XS, when you’re definitely an M?! Often, through the years, I couldn’t buy a piece just because it was loosened up, or even worse, torn apart.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging from my comfy seat!
I always buy M for the upper pieces, just cause I think it fits me better.
No one wants to look like the Michelin man, seriously!
Have a wonderful day, darlings!
What’s with the weather, though?!
Kisses

Black Lace

Hi, sweeties!
Happy Women’s Day! I wish you all the happiness in the world...
I wish you lots of joy and love from those around you. I hope you had a wonderful day, since this day was special as every single woman is, in her own way.
As for me, I’ve always considered this day as a celebration for Mothers,
for Grandmothers... for those wonderful women that took a part of their life and
gave it to us.  Those women who made us who we are and without whom,
we wouldn’t have been here today. I love you, mom! Thank you for everything!
Sorry for the late post...I had this outfit planned for today, but unfortunately I couldn’t catch a break from all the craziness that’s been happening at my house, these days,
to take the pictures earlier. I took them just before sunset and as soon as I got home...
a few minutes ago, that is...I jumped in front of the computer. I chose this outfit because I wanted to post something more elegant and special for today.
I couldn’t wait to mix my H&M skirt with this coat and this was the perfect occasion.
At first, I wanted to go bare legged, but in the end I went for these tights, to balance
the amount of skin revealed and to spice this all black look a bit. I don’t know what’s
with me and black lately... If you, guys, remember, I used to hate this color.
Well, I’m still not loving it, but I tend to choose it quite often, lately. I’m definitely planning to change that...in the end, Spring is finally here so we must embrace colors!
Have a wonderful evening, darlings!
Kisses

Frozen Valentine

Hi, guys!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I hope you’re having a wonderful time with your loved ones! If you’re single,
wear something fab, put on some killer heels and shine on the dance floor, tonight!
I’ve never been much of a fan of this celebration, to be honest. I don’t think we need a special day to celebrate love, to give and receive gifts and to spend some quality time with our loved one. Still, I can’t say no to dressing up for a night out with my boyfriend.
Usually, I never find the moment to take any pics before I go out...Christmas,
New Year’s Eve, My birthday...you name it! I’m always in a hurry, I forget my camera or
I don’t have anyone available to take some pictures of my outfit.
So, I decided to shoot these pics in advance, so that I can show you what I will be wearing tonight. Well, it was a good idea since today is raining cats and dogs...
I know, I know, it’s such a cliché...I’m wearing red on Valentine’s Day.
To be honest, I was just looking for an occasion to wear my new...self made dress.
Last fall, I fell in love with the red hitch up dress from H&M’s famous collaboration
with Maison Martin Margiela. I was that in love that I actually went to the official lunch of the collection, even if I totally hate crowded places and stores, especially.
Even so, I haven’t managed to take it home with me, since it flew off the racks
in a few seconds. Since then, my mind was set on finding a red midi dress similar
to that one. Well, I failed...so I decided to create it myself.
This is an interpretation, since the original design wasn’t quite flattering for my figure. Unfortunately, yesterday was not only extremely windy, but the humidity was so high, that I arrived home with my hair ruined. It was a good thing that it wasn’t the actual Valentine’s Day, right? The quality of the pictures is not the best, but believe me,
I did the best that I could...People were starring at me posing in a sleeveless,
backless dress in the middle of the storm, but I hope it was worth it.
I promise I’ll take some better pics of it next time I’ll wear it.
Oh, and guess what?! I changed my mind about tonight’s outfit.
I chose a black open-back midi dress, instead...self made, also.
I hope I’ll manage to take some pics of this one, also.
Have a wonderful day, darlings!
And Happy Valentine’s Day!
Kisses

Work Outfit

Hi, guys!
This is what I wore today at work.
I was dying to wear this dress again, but since it’s sleeveless, I had to add a top to
make it work for this weather. So I added this striped one, rolled it up a bit under
my new belt and transformed it into an asymmetrical skirt.
To be honest, I kinda missed my elegant outfits.
 I hope you’ll have a wonderful week!
Kisses

I ♥ this sweater!

Hi, guys!
This is another outfit I wore back when the temperature was...bearable.
Now, I don’t even wanna get out of the house, not to mention dressing up
or wearing heels. I hate this time of year!
Have a wonderful and warm week!
Kisses
