The Silent City

Good morning, darlings!
Even though I worked every day from Thursday through Saturday,
today I feel like I’m coming from a long Summer vacay. Probably cause the city was
so empty these days, so peaceful and quiet...it was a joy to drive, run errands and
take outfit pictures. These are the moments when I wish I was born in a small town.
I’ve always dreamed about living in a small American community
like the ones we see in the TV series. Oh, well, maybe someday!
I am absolutely and completely in love with these skirts. Every time I wear another
one I declare myself forever in love with it. That is until I wear the next color...
This particular one is perfect for Summer and even though I had crop tops and strong contrasts in mind when I saw it, I decided to try a more romantic look for my
first outfit with it. It just went better with the mood of the city!
As you probably saw on my social media channels, I bought these sandals on my first online experience on zara.com. I had my eyes on them for a long time, but somehow
they never hit stores here, in Romania. The Dear Romania campaign made it happen...
they entered my closet and they are now one of my favorite pair of heels.
Have a wonderful and sunny week, guys!

Pastels

Hello, darlings!
I am more than grateful for these wonderful temperatures, but the wind is driving
me crazy. Don’t get me wrong...I understand that we’re still in March, but God,
please stop this stubborn wind. It takes away all the beauty...What am I saying?!
I still love this time of year. At least for the fact that I can easily mix light jackets or sweaters with sandals, bare legs with midi skirts and over the knee boots with mini pleated full skirts. And these are just the girly, superficial arguments.
What about the wonderful flowers? What about the blooming trees?
What about....my happy little dog? He loves this weather, probably even more than
he likes snow. And believe me...he loves loves loves snow!
Have a wonderful day, darlings! I’m going out for a walk and I have
a big bouquet of pink hyacinths on my shopping list!

Happiness

Hi, guys!
Well...today, I couldn’t be happier!
I bought a new lens this weekend and my first pictures with it turned out great.
Especially since it was our first attempt. Plus, I had so much fun during the shooting...
I’m telling you, there’s something about that Square. It instantly brightens up your mood!
Plus, I finally received this wonderful top and I couldn’t wait to wear it.
You’ve already seen it on so many beautiful bloggers, but I honestly think it’s impossible
to get bored of it! You can find it here, along with many other great pieces.
Have a wonderful week, darlings!

Sunday Stroll

Hi, darlings!
I’m finally back with a new outfit post. I took these pictures on Sunday,
on one of those warm and sunny mornings...those mornings you just want to spend on a picnic or something. Instead, I took my heels and my...lingerie looking dress and went for a stroll in the city.
I fell in love with this dress after seeing it on a H&M store manager.
After complimenting each other’s outfits, I requested her to show me where I can find this beauty.
Love its color and the fabric feels amazing against the skin, but I have a dilemma:
what’s the deal with the „no ironˮ warning on the caring instructions?!
After seeing it on, I can only say one thing: I’m sure as hell that it needs ironing!
Have a wonderful week, guys!

Take Three

Hello, darlings!
What started out as a rock-chic interpretation of this maxi,
ended with me choosing...the wrong accessories.
Truth to be told, I wasn’t feeling so tough that day, considering that I was
coming after a 12 hours marathon at work. Anyway, something good is gotta
come out of this... I have the chance to wear this skirt again in a different look.
I’m thinking smokey eyes and biker boots. Until then, I have to endure the sky-high temperatures we are having here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, on the contrary...
I couldn’t be more excited that I can finally work on my tan
in the comfort of my own home...or back yard.
My man is out of town for a few days, so I’m going to take some time off
from the outfit posts, but I have something else prepared for you, guys, instead.
Have a wonderful afternoon!
Kisses

Cropped

Hi, sweeties!
Finally, a new outfit post. I’m very sorry for my absence, but my boyfriend...
and photographer was away, so I took this time off to get things settled at work.
Ok, I did a little sale shopping, also. Well, it left me kinda broke, but let’s just say it was just a little and the rest of the money miraculously vanished. I’ve found this cropped top on sale and I couldn’t wait to wear it with my high-waisted mint polka-dotted skirt. Colored my nails in the same color, took these killer shoes for the wow effect and went to work.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy this new month of Summer!

When at school...

Hi, sweeties!
As I was telling you the other day, I had my last exam yesterday.
I don’t know about you, but I always find myself in a bit of a tricky situation when it comes to choosing the outfit I wear. Let’s get things straight...I am not talking about the oral exams, the interviews or the terminal exams, when the white shirt-black skirt/pants combo is a must, not as a rule, but as a sign of respect. I am talking about the normal exams. Although I’m not in high-school anymore, well...not even close, I’m about to take my Master’s Degree soon....I still find myself morally obliged to wear something decent. So, my rules are: no shorts, no cleavage, no bright colors, no to tons of accessories or make-up. As simple as that! So this is what I wore yesterday, except for the heels. I always keep a pair of basic flats with me.
Have a wonderful weekend, darlings!

The Challenge

Hi, sweeties!
First of all, this is the outfit I wore for the H&M Press Preview I was telling you
about, yesterday. Now I have to tell you the story behind this outfit.
I bought this maxi skirt as a personal challenge. It drew my attention mainly because of the fabric and that perfect nude shade, so I’ve decided to try it on.
My boyfriend’s first thought was „It looks kinda old-fashioned and rusty, you know?
I don’t know what you’ll be able to wear it with...ˮ Hearing him say that made me have some second thoughts, but...I loved that fabric, the way it felt and its movement,
plus I was dying for a nude maxi skirt. So I took it as a challenge! I promised I will find some combos that will make it look perfect. This is my first outfit with it and not only did he loved it, but I received tons of compliments that day, mostly because of the skirt.
My point is... you know that us, women, feel the need to receive that approval.
From our boyfriend, from our best friend or mother, or any another person you enjoy going shopping with. But you must know that, in the end, you must be the one who loves the clothes you buy, because you are the one who will be wearing them.
You are the mind behind the outfit, you create the story.
Stay tuned for my next outfit with it...
Have a wonderful day, guys!
Kisses
