What started out as a rock-chic
interpretation of this maxi,
ended with me choosing...the wrong accessories.
Truth to be told, I wasn’t feeling so tough that day,
considering that I was
coming after a 12 hours marathon at work. Anyway,
something good is gotta
come out of this... I have the chance to wear this skirt
again in a different look.
I’m thinking smokey eyes and biker boots. Until
then, I have to endure the sky-high temperatures we are having here. Don’t get
me wrong, I’m not complaining, on the contrary...
I couldn’t be more excited that I can finally work on my tan
in the comfort of my own home...or back yard.

Très chic, Alina! This is a lovely sheer maxi skirt to compliment this cropped top. I probably would have sported some spicy heels or some platform sandals here rather than these thong flats, but I adore your style as a whole here.

I never ever wear heels with maxi skirts/dresses, John. Unless we are talking about evening gowns. Unfortunately, I haven't found a maxi that will allow me to do that, because of the length. And since I absolutely hate uncertain lenghts or that "feet peeking out of your skirt" look, I'm going to stick to wearing flats :) thank you so much for your kind words!
Total de acord cu absența tocurilor în cazul fustelor maxi, nici eu nu aș găsi o fustă maxi care să nu stea în aer, din cauza înălțimii mele. :-) Cred că s-ar vedea destul de urât.
