New Year Blossom

Good morning, darlings!

 First of all, I am super sorry about my absence. 

December was like a resistance test for me. Somehow, I made it through,

 so now I’m back with new forces. These Holidays were like a breath of fresh air for me.

 I literally just stood in the middle of the couch, eating all sorts of stuff (I shouldn’t be eating) and watching movies. Now I’m back with new pics and...more than one fabulous skirt. The one I’m wearing today is by far my favorite. It was on The List since November, but since you, guys, are my priority, I had to wait for my turn. It was ready just in time

 for NYE, thanks to my super special fairies, so I wore it that night. Since I stayed

 home this year, I wanted something a little festive, but still simple and comfortable. 

I wore it again yesterday and I must say that everyone loved it. And I mean Everyone.

 So I hope you do, too! A few words about this past year and the usual

 retrospective will be up this week, so stay tuned.

Still Obsessed

Good morning, guys! 

Talk about good investments, right?! 

I guess you’re sick and tired of this black body – royal blue handbag, but it’s a winner 

for me and I’m loving it more and more every time. I must admit that I sometime buy pieces that end up in the back of the closet after being worn once. I’ve tried to educate my impulse of buying seasonal pieces, but I’m not quite there yet. On the other hand, 

these versatile „Oh my God, they match with my whole wardrobeˮ pieces are the ones who make my heart sing. You just can’t help yourself from loving them 

and congratulate yourself for the good investment! 

P.S. I promise I’ll stop wearing this combo...hmm...sometimes soon.

For the weekend...

it ended up this way. These were the first clothing pieces I laid my eyes 

on today and...these were the same pieces that ended up thrown together 

as quickly as you say: damn, this Summer is too hot! 

Well, not really, but this is the only thing on my mind, lately.

Studded Flower

Hi, sweeties! 

So sorry for the late post but I’m having a very hectic period lately. 

I just got home a few minutes ago and uploaded the pics I took in the morning. 

So here it is, the outfit I wore today! I was literally stalking and harassing every employee Zara has in all its Bucharest stores, ever since I saw this jacket online. 

That’s how much I love it! Personally, I’m not very into denim jackets. 

Don’t have a reason for that, I’m just not their biggest fan. But, this one is perfect!

 Denim perfection with every inch of it, I’m telling you! And since lately I love everything studded, this jacket couldn’t have been an exception. 

So, on Sunday it finally came home with me and today I took it for its first stroll!

 In the morning, that is, cause before I got home this city transformed itself into 

an oven from the MasterChef kitchen. I had to make this analogy, since now 

I’m watching MasterChef US’s third season. You gotta love this show!

When in Barcelona...

I know it’s been a while since I promised I’ll make this post, but time is my toughest enemy, right now. Finally, here it is...my trip to Barcelona in a few words. 

Although I’ve visited quite a few, there’s no country in the world I love more than Spain. 

I don’t know if it’s the wonderful and impressive architecture, the amazing landscapes, 

the delicious food, the perfect beaches, the beauty and kindness of the Spanish people or just the fact that I love the history, language and mostly...everything about this country. Amongst all its wonderful cities, my personal favorite would be Barcelona. 

Perfection in every way that is possible, I must say! 

The city of Gaudi brings everything to another level: absolutely impressive architecture, delicious food, the beautiful beach and a great selection of stores making Barcelona 

one of the top shopping destinations in Europe and my personal shopping Heaven.

If there’s one thing that I don’t like about this city is the multitude of large 

boulevards and adjacent streets. Don’t get me wrong, it’s impossible not to like’em, 

but it’s kinda hard to get around if you’re not used to them. 

Anyway, I’m not the typical tourist type...I don’t exactly feel the need to visit or take pictures of all the famous sights. I’ve always said that if I want a beautiful picture with 

the Eiffel Tower or Sagrada Familia, in this case, all I have to do is Google it. 

I know, I know...I drive my mother insane with this kind of thinking, too. 

But I do have an obsession with the local architecture. I love to take pictures of normal buildings, stores, public buildings, houses...don’t ask me why, I just do. 

Still, if you want to see everything there is to be seen in this city I definitely recommend the Barcelona City Tour HOP-ON HOP-OFF Bus. The ticket costs 24€/adult, 

but it’s available one whole day, giving you permission to get on and off the bus and visit every objective or part of the city you want and even change between the two routes available. You will also receive a map of the city with short descriptions of every stop, 

plus an audio guide that will assist your journey.

The hotel where I stayed was exactly in the Catalonia Square, so I had one of the 

main stations just in front of me. The location was indeed perfect since I had one 

El Corte Ingles just in front of the hotel and direct access to Passeig the Gracia, Barcelona’s main shopping boulevard.

Winter Bloom

Hi, guys! 

I don’t know how many times I have told you that I hate Winter, 

but one thing I know for sure: it was not enough! I hate Winter with all my heart and I’m literally...and I mean L I T E R A L L Y counting down the days till Spring arrives. 

On a much happier note, once again, this season I’m very happy with my sale purchases. 

I was searching for this coat ever since I saw it on the Zara website, but 

there was absolutely no sign of it in stores. But, last weekend, it finally came home with me! It was the last one and it was reduced from 115 € to 35 €. This is what I call a good deal!

 I like it mostly because of its particular cut. Since black is definitely not my color, 

it was very difficult for me to find something that would actually look good on me. 

I needed something different to draw the attention from the black winter coat cliche.

This one is perfect, especially because it’s not that thick, so I can wear it all year round! 

So, this is what I’m wearing today.

 I chose a floral printed skirt so that Spring will realise how much we miss it and kick Winter’s ass out of here. I actually think it works, since the exact moment I stepped out the door, the sun came out. Not a very good thing for my pics, but still...it was a good sign!

I'm not ready to say goodbye yet!

Good morning, sweeties!

I, honestly, can’t believe that autumn has officially arrived. Wow...time flies!

With all the exams and stuff I haven’t even felt these three months. Anyway, since summer is definitely my favorite season, I want to say a proper goodbye to this wonderful 

season, hoping that it won’t leave us just yet. Please, Mrs. Summer, stay with us a little longer! We will miss you, so! I must confess that I’m not ready to say goodbye to the long hot days, the warmth of the sun, and of course, the colors. This season, we indulged ourselves in wonderful, bright, neon colors and we loved it! Oh...how much we loved it!

And hopefully, autumn won’t be as harsh as it used to be these last years. 

Although, today we celebrate the official arrival of autumn, I chose to wear colors, 

floral print and color block sandals, as a tribute to my favorite season and as a statement of my refusal to accept its departure. I don’t know why, but I forgot to include my clutch 

into these pics. It totally slip my mind! Just so you know, I wore a pink one. 

I’m not usually a fan of matching shoes with the bag, but since my shoes include red, as well, they weren’t quite identical. Plus, I have two more outfits in mind with this skirt, including a black and a green clutch, so I had to use something different this time.

I have this skirt since June and I had this combination in mind ever since I saw it, but (If you can believe that!) I failed at finding the perfect white shirt. Honestly, all I have is

sheer, oversized, tunic-like, short-sleeve white shirts. Nothing basic. 

Until Monday, when I finally found it! The perfect white shirt! I hope you like it, cause 

you’ll be seeing it a lot! I think it’s almost a year since I’m looking for it! 

So, I wish you, guys, a wonderful and warm season and good luck with school for those 

of you who are back in their benches!

Last, but not least, I would like to wish Happy Birthday to Daiana, one of my wonderful readers, who celebrates her birthday today!
