It’s not even Summer yet and I’m dreaming about
Autumn-Winter Collections...
but it’s not just any collection, it’s THE
collection. As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve become more and more addicted to
H&M. And that’s only cause they’re getting and better!
Last week I had the
chance to see this year’s Autumn-Winter
Collection in the H&M showroom. The mix between the dramatic atmosphere and
the masculine style is the essence of this collection. Pieces like the tuxedo,
the sequin dress, the short evening
jacket, the leather pants, the leather jacket and the thick oversized sweater are
showcased by the luxurious fabrics: wool, silk, leather or velvet. This
collection is a mix of contrasts: bohemian inspired pieces, the dramatic
atmosphere suggested by the tuxedo and the sequin dresses, oversized sweaters
and masculine cuts and the...
oh, so present and loved, leather pieces. I am in love, how about you?
The
collection will be available in stores and online starting the 5th of September.

H&M Home
Also, starting this Fall, H&M Home will be
available in Romania, also.
This year’s collection is a modern approach of the
vintage bohemian style
through baroque printed bedding, pillows and even
bathrobes. Also, H&M’s Home Autumn Collection showcases color and joy, through
floral prints and colorful decorations such as:
colored glass vases, cookie jars
and cake stands.

some very exciting news for this Fall
And now...the news we’ve all been waiting for. This
year, H&M teams up with the one and only Isabel Marant for its new designer
collaboration. I couldn’t be more excited!
"I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M
works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim
to create something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with
a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do
not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with
this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one's own
instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality", says Isabel
Marant.
"We are excited to have Isabel Marant as a
guest designer at H&M,"
said H&M creative advisor Margareta van den
Bosch. "The way she mixes different elements in her collections,
creating a style that is effortless and urban, makes
her very contemporary. She has a fantastic eye for
ethnic detail and the rare
ability to create something that people really
want to wear.
We are sure the H&M customers will be enthusiastic
about this collection."
And we sure are! The collection will be available in
250 selected stores and online starting November 14. I will get back to
you with more details when
the official lookbook will be released!
