Isabel Marant pour H&M: The Showroom

Believe it or not, it’s less than a week left until H&M’s latest collaboration 

with the one and only Isabel Marant, will hit stores. On November 14, we will be all lined up in front of H&M Băneasa Shoppping City and Unirea Shopping Center,

 waiting to get our hands on at least one cool item from this capsule collection. 

I hope you’ve started saving the moment you  first heard the rumor, 

cause there are some items that a true Isabel Marant fan just can’t miss.

 I’m saying this because this collection, as well as the ones before it, are truly designed for the fans. If you love Isabel Marant’s Parisian bohemian aesthetic, you must be very excited right now. Personally, I sighed and sighed over those gorgeous fringe boots Giovanna Battaglia was rocking a few seasons ago at the Fashion Weeks.

 Hopefully, next week I’ll take them home with me! 

Last week I was able to actually see and try on all the pieces and I was extremely impressed by the quality and details of the leather pants. So if you have’em on you wishlist, you should definitely buy them cause they’re worth it. The shoes look better than I expected and the booties are not only cool and chic, but also comfortable. 

There were some other pieces that caught my eye, but I must admit I was 

expecting more from the denim and jewelry department. All in all, it’s a collection 

worth seeing and some pieces worth adding to a true fashionista’s collection.

H&M Autumn-Winter 2013 Collection + News

It’s not even Summer yet and I’m dreaming about Autumn-Winter Collections...

but it’s not just any collection, it’s THE collection. As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve become more and more addicted to H&M. And that’s only cause they’re getting and better!

 Last week I had the chance to see this year’s Autumn-Winter Collection in the H&M showroom. The mix between the dramatic atmosphere and the masculine style is the essence of this collection. Pieces like the tuxedo, the sequin dress, the  short evening jacket, the leather pants, the leather jacket and the thick oversized sweater are showcased by the luxurious fabrics: wool, silk, leather or velvet. This collection is a mix of contrasts: bohemian inspired pieces, the dramatic atmosphere suggested by the tuxedo and the sequin dresses, oversized sweaters and masculine cuts and the...

oh, so present and loved, leather pieces. I am in love, how about you?

The collection will be available in stores and online starting the 5th of September.

H&M Spring 2013 in the H&M Showroom

Hi, guys! 

As I’ve already told you, on Friday I attended the Press Preview of H&M’s 

Spring 2013 Collection. It was as amazing as I expected since I’ve already seen the Lookbook online. H&M is becoming better and better by every season, for sure! 

The design, the fabrics, the accessories, the details were at their best! 

All I can say is that I can’t wait to see it in stores!

Ok, trebuie să recunosc...am fost atât de impresionată de această colecție încât 

am considerat că merită marcată cu prima mea postare în limba română. 

Faptul că am fost și sunt fană declarată H&M încă de când am învățat de la mama ce măsură port și de la Google Maps unde sunt localizate cele mai apropiate magazine, 

se știe. Știe mama pentru că bugetul ei de cumpărături avea de suferit considerabil atunci când mă scăpa din mână într-un H&M generos de 3 etaje...ah, cum să nu iubești Viena și Florența?!...știe tatăl meu, care în naivitatea lui, încă se întreabă de ce are probleme cu încheieturile. Știe prietenul meu pentru că...ah, numai el știe câte a îndurat! 

Ce să mai încolo și încoace, știe toată lumea! Mai puțin voi! Voi îmi cunoașteți obsesia pentru Zara, în schimb. Și asta pentru că o dată cu intrarea pe piață a gigantului suedez, am impresia că o parte din lucrurile fabuloase pe care noi le vedem în Lookbook-urile fiecărui sezon, sunt sustrase de doamnele chic de la vamă. Altfel, nu-mi explic cum unele piese cheie pe care le văd la bloggerii din afară, nici nu ating rafturile noastre.

Cu toate astea, pot afirma cu mâna pe inimă că ultimele două sezoane, 

respectiv ss’12 și aw’12 mi-au întărit convingerea că am crescut și noi mari și avem voie să ne jucăm cu jucării de +3ani. De la topurile cu peplum, bluzele asimetrice și accesoriile neon, la puloverele supradimensionate, cerceii și colierele statement. De la nuanțele pudrate, la burgundy și galben neon, de la mătase și voal, la neopren și piele, de la ținte la pietre sclipitoare ridiculos de ostentative. Baby, I’m lovin’it!

 Însă colecția de primăvară 2013 este...mind blowing, fără nicio îndoiala. 

Este o evoluție totală! De la designul pieselor, la materiale, atenția sporită pentru detaliile și ornamentele care împodobesc fustele și jachetele, la accesoriile prețioase, dar și la prețul ușor mai ridicat decât cel cu care eram obișnuiți.

Personal, m-am îndrăgostit de jacheta rosie cu canafi și franjuri din simplul motiv 

că este pur și simplu fabuloasă! De fapt, îmi aduce aminte de o jachetă Proenza Schouler de care m-am îndrăgostit acum câțiva ani și pe care regret și în ziua de azi că nu am cumpărat-o. E genul de jachetă care vorbește de la sine, pentru care nu ai nevoie de artificii pentru a o pune în valoare și care poate transforma orice ținută banală într-una super stylish. Am rămas plăcut impresionată și fascinată de ghetele cowboy. 

Deși nu sunt cel mai mare fan al acestui gen de încălțăminte, din simplul motiv că arăt de parcă am încălțat două canoe, de acestea m-am îndrăgostit pe loc. Aș fi putut jura că sunt designer made atunci când am văzut-o pe Diana, showroom manager-ul H&M, purtându-le. Topul asimetric din tricot cu imprimeu military mi-a rămas în minte și nu cred că voi avea liniște până când nu va fi al meu. La fel și eșarfa cu canafi neon și cerceii în formă de scoică și ananas. Nu pot să spun decât că abia aștept să apară în magazine și discutăm mai multe în momentul în care intru în posesia măcar a unei piese!
