Yesterday took place one of the most important fashion
events in our country,
the 11th edition of Avanpremiere. The following
designers presented their Spring-Summer 2013 collections: Iris Șerban, Simona
Semen, Anca & Silvia Negulescu, Natalia Vasiliev, Carmen Cherehes
(newcomer), Loredana Novotni (Spain - newcomer) and Ștefan Muscă (men).
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend because of this damn cold, but I was
simply amazed when I saw the pictures. My absolute favorite was by far, the
fabulous designer Iris Șerban! The
designs, the luxurious fabrics, the details, the sheer skirts,
the emphasized waist line, the leather details mixed
with silk and lace...everything
was simply stunning and amazing. Romania shows that
has something to say in the fashion industry, and this can only make us proud.
